The 7 is made for high explosives surfing in blah blah waves. Getting loose in average waves but having the control of your normal performance stick board. But with tons of vee out the tail add with a lower nose and tail rocker, always the 7 to help build speed and do very snappy turns. The hint of wider volume in this board help it to be a squirter in ok waves

I would shop around for this board same to 3 inches shorter then your normal short board. But take into factor your ability and waves in your local break.
